FOUNDER STORY
Founder & Creative Director, Cheshe Ltd
Jessica Alviani is the Founder and Creative Director of Cheshe Ltd, a London-based sustainable fashion house defined by conscious design, ethical innovation, and elevated craftsmanship. A graduate of the University of East London, Jessica launched her brand in 2018 while still completing her Fashion Design degree — setting the foundation for a label rooted in purpose from its inception.
Guided by a commitment to challenge the systemic impact of fast fashion, Jessica established Cheshe as a response to unethical production practices, championing sustainability without compromising on aesthetics. Her work reflects a modern luxury ethos where responsibility, creativity, and individuality intersect.
Her vision and leadership have been recognised through multiple Awards from UEL, including Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 and the Sustainability Award. She now serves as a UEL Alumni Ambassador, representing the next generation of socially driven creative leadership.
Cheshe has garnered international editorial attention, with features in FAULT Magazine, Moevir Paris, and Assure Magazine, and most notably in Cosmopolitan UK’s February/March 2025 issue — a defining moment in the brand’s evolution.
Jessica’s designs have been worn by influential figures across music, film, and performance, including GIRLI, Bellsavvy, Empara Mi, We Are Coach Party, Links, and Comfort Fedoke for " So You Think You Can Dance (FOX)". She also dressed Taz Skylar for the London premiere of Gassed Up, now streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime.
With sustainability as both practice and philosophy, Jessica Alviani continues to redefine contemporary fashion — crafting garments that stand as a deliberate alternative to fast fashion and a statement of modern, ethical luxury.
